There is not a separate general “medical visa”. Private medical treatment is a purpose under the Standard Visitor route. Applicants normally need arrangements for treatment, sufficient funds to pay for it, and a clear intention to leave after treatment or when permission expires.
Medical evidence matters: UKVI guidance requires a letter from a doctor or consultant confirming the condition, estimated cost and likely duration of treatment.
