Visa Types in This Category

  • Standard Visitor Visa

Eligibility Requirements

  • Genuine intention to visit the UK temporarily and leave at the end of the visit
  • Sufficient, credible funds to cover the trip without recourse to public funds
  • Strong ties to Pakistan (employment, family, property) showing intent to return
  • No adverse immigration history or relevant criminal convictions
  • Confirmed accommodation and travel arrangements for the visit
  • (Marriage Visitor) evidence of a genuine intention to marry or register a civil partnership within 6 months

Document Checklist

  • Valid passport with at least one blank page and 6+ months validity
  • Recent passport-size photographs meeting UKVI specifications
  • Completed online visa application (VAF) and biometric appointment confirmation
  • Personal and/or business bank statements for the last 6 months
  • Proof of employment or business ownership (letter, pay slips, registration documents)
  • Property or other asset documents, where available
  • Travel itinerary and confirmed hotel or accommodation bookings
  • Invitation letter from a UK host, with their status proof, if visiting family or friends
  • Marriage or relationship proof, for the Marriage Visitor visa
  • A short cover letter explaining the purpose and duration of the visit
